Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to serve as the Requirements and Verification lead in support a program out of our Fairfax, VA or Morrisville, NC locations.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will lead Requirements and Verification implementation for capture phase 1B while performing the following tasks:

• Defining and owning the R&V framework in Cameo
• Coordinating with SEIT Lead and SW Lead to define R&V Approach
• Lead SW verification campaigns
• Run weekly customer facing TEMs to discuss requirement definition
• Lead/own development of R&V processes

Basic Qualifications:

• Sr. Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of experience or a PhD with 7 years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance at the time of application or have an active TS with SCI eligibility.
• Experience developing a process to maintain a configured baseline for requirements
• Familiarity or willingness to learn with CAMEO, and Ground SW Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with requirements in CAMEO.
• General knowledge of Ground SW Systems and ground segment architecture.
• Familiarity with other areas of Systems Engineering such as Integration & Test.
• Willingness to support any Phase 2 Proposal needs.

Salary Range: $171,000.00 - $256,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
