Hitter’s House Sales Clerk
Marucci Sports, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fox Factory, was founded by two former MLB players and their athletic trainer who began handcrafting bats for some of the best players in the game from their garage in 2004. Position Summary:
Marucci Sports is looking for a Hitter’s House Salesclerk! You will be responsible for assisting customers with locating items, providing product information and creating a positive and welcoming shopping experience for all customers. The Hitter’s House Salesclerk role involves totaling bills accurately, accepting payments, exchanging merchandise and maintaining an organized checkout area. You will play a critical role in maintaining store operations, ensuring shelves are stocked, and the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Position Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves, counters or tables with merchandise as needed.
- Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise to promote sales according to company standards.
- Stamp, mark, or tag prices on merchandise.
- Obtain merchandise requested by customer or receive merchandise selected by customer.
- Answer customer questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise.
- Total price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill.
- Accurately handle payments, provide correct change, and professionally wrap or bag merchandise to ensure a seamless and satisfying customer experience.
- Remove and record the amount of cash in register at end of shift.
- Calculate sales discount to determine price.
- Keep record of sales, prepare inventory of stock and order merchandise as needed.
- Keep the showroom clean and orderly.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
- Sports knowledge preferred.
