Cleerly is creating a new standard of care for heart disease through value-based, AI-driven precision diagnostic solutions with the goal of helping prevent heart attacks. Our technology goes beyond traditional measures of heart disease by enabling comprehensive quantification and characterization of atherosclerosis, or plaque buildup, in each of the heart arteries. Cleerly’s solutions are supported by more than a decade of performing some of the world’s largest clinical trials to identify important findings beyond symptoms that increase a person’s risk of heart attacks.
About the Opportunity
The Sales Training Director/Sr. Director is responsible for supporting sales and marketing initiatives through the development, planning and facilitation of training programs. The person in this role should have experience in building an outcomes-based sales program centered on key competencies. The training curriculum will build knowledge of our solutions and how to sell them, ensure effective use of required processes and platforms, and support the mastery of professional selling skills. This person will be leading a team of Commercial Learning Managers.
Salary: $160,000 - $180,000
Responsibilities
- Partners with sales & client management leadership to assess and prioritize learning needs.
- Develops outcomes-oriented sales training goals and curriculum for our Health and Hospital Systems business within the framework of our sales methodology. Participants include new hires, inside sales, field sales and client management team members. Scope emphasizes skills training, but also includes sales methodology and platforms along with market and solution training.
- Identifies process improvements for training delivery.
- Coordinates with VP’s of Sales so that Cleerly’s Sales Team Members are prepared to present relevant content with sensitivity to adult learning principles, sound training design and global learning styles. Sources external training resources as needed.
- In collaboration with sales training colleague and sales/client management leadership, defines success metrics, based on all five of the Kirkpatrick levels. Tracks and reports on progress against metrics.
- Conducts annual needs analyses based on the results of reporting and feedback and proposes actions and adjustments accordingly. Regularly introduces new approaches, practices and processes to improve training program effectiveness.
- Leverages experience and knowledge of training principles and best practices to help shape the evolution of a company-wide sales training approach and organization that supports successful growth and scalability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in sales training and coaching
- Working knowledge of the end-to-end learning process, i.e., learning needs assessment, program design and delivery, and learning evaluation and assessment
- Demonstrated success leading sales training and development programs
- Proven experience facilitating virtual/remote training sessions
- Experience defining and tracking to quantified success metrics
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Strong interpersonal, team building, and leadership skills
- Global experience; sensitivity to culturally diverse learning styles
- Previous sales experience a plus
- Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and various virtual meeting platforms.
- Proficiency with Brainshark and with Salesforce preferred
