As a Senior Operational Buyer, you are responsible for management of purchase orders placed on behalf of Markets to suppliers for third party medical devices, overseeing and coordinating the purchase order management process through proactive collaboration with other internal and external Supply Chain functions. You will develop relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

You are responsible for

• Placing purchase orders with suppliers, communicating delivery dates and checking if goods are shipped and delivered on time,

• Oversee third-party actions and improvements,

• Establish visibility on the order book and closely monitor end-to-end performance,

• Analyzes production plan and calculates optimal mode for ordering,

• Places orders with suppliers and monitors the outstanding order package in terms of delivery time, quality and price,

• Responsible for inventory levels and inventory control,

• Negotiates and draws up Logistics Agreements,

• Together with team members continuously implementing improvements through Lean tooling and disciplines,

• Taking care of 3rd parties and inter-company orders.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in an operational environment within order management, supply chain (stock monitoring, procurement, 3rd party cooperation),

• Proactive, accountable and Self-driven,

• Fluent in English, both written & spoken to be able to deal with various stakeholders,

• Knowledge of SAP is essential to perform daily duties,

• Strong analytical skills required, data analysis and translating trends into rules,

• Very good communication skills and are customer oriented and always see opportunities to improve the processes (operational excellence),

• University degree in business administration / logistics.
