We are looking for

Master Data Quality Specialist with English

for the Master Data Service Center in Gdańsk.

The Gdańsk Master Data Service Center serves Metsä Group units in managing and maintaining customer, supplier, travel, and financial data. We are looking for two quality specialist who are ready to take on the challenge and become a part of our team. In this position, you will play a key role in developing higher quality services and establishing a new, unified way of working for the successful Metsä Group. Your role in the future Metsä

As a Quality Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of data management and operational processes follow the highest quality standards set by the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement reports, and continuously optimize processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What will you get to do?          

  • Ensuring highest data quality by applying company policies
  • Maintaining process documentation
  • Collaboration in the introduction and further development of systems for master data management
  • Finding ways to help operation teams in their daily tasks with focus on increased productivity and/or quality
  • User rights administration for our Master Data Management Tool
  • Building up dashboards, reports and KPIs                                  
  • Identifying & leading business process improvements opportunities
  • Enterprise Data Structure (EDS) govern from the Master Data side​
  • Supporting development of automation within our center


What kid of skills are you looking for?
Must have:

  • SAP practical knowledge especially in Master Data content
  • At least basic Power BI knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of VBA
  • English language at min. C1 level (both written and verbal) as Metsä Group conducts all communication in English.
  • Experienced user of MS Office (Outlook, Excel)
  • Team player and great communication skills
  • Analytical & logical thinking, problem solving oriented and attention to details
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to gather & understand business requirements
  • Responsibility for own assigned tasks and effective work organization (Self-leadership skills)

Nice to have:

  • General IT skills on a very good level
  • Experience in project leading
  • Winshuttle knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of any other programming language will be an advantage
  • Experience in implementation of robotic process automation scenarios is an asset
