Description

Dominion Diagnostics is the premier provider of comprehensive clinical quantitative urine drug testing, medication monitoring, and support services nationwide. Serving hundreds of clients in a variety of medical specialties, we provide actionable information to improve patient care and medical outcomes in the treatment of Chronic Pain and Addiction Medicine.  


The position is located in North Kingstown, RI.


This position will report to the Client Services Manager.


Schedule / Hours:

Part-Time, 25 hours – Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains supply inventory; verifies inventory levels by checking shelves, notifies supervisor as to replacement needs or places orders as appropriate

• Receives and stores supplies in warehouse or supply room

• Reviews incoming order forms for quantities requested; inspects and verifies supplies received against invoice and packing slip; notifies supervisor on requests for vendor corrections

• Processes paperwork related to supply requests

• Ensures customer satisfaction and positive rapport with vendors

• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices

��� Performs clerical duties related to maintaining stock inventories and stockroom; must operate a computer terminal and/or personal computer 

• Communicate with Clients regarding supply requests, orders, and questions

• Prints, packages, and ships client supplies

• Records Outgoing Shipments in Dominion Connect

• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• May be required to perform courier duties as staffing requires


Education and Experience:

• Two years college experience preferred 

• At least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork

• Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods

• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control

• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures

• Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment

• Telephone skills

• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures

• Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications


Distinguishing Characteristics Position Requires:

• Receiving, storing, and maintaining stock and supplies according to department need

• Locating stock and delivering requested items to accounts

• Reviewing order forms for accuracy, and verifying supplies received against invoice and packing slips

• Contacting approved vendors to reorder routine supplies, and process paperwork related to reorder requests

• Printing, packaging, and shipping client supplies

• Performing routine clerical duties in support of the unit


Conditions of Employment

• Possession of a valid Rhode Island driver's license is a requirement for this job. 


Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. 

• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. 

• Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment or working with chemicals.
