Secheron Hasler Italia is looking for a dynamic and motivated System Engineer to reinforce the team in Verona, place where the selected candidate will develop the activity.
The System Engineer we are looking for is a technical expert within the customer's project. He supports the other engineers with regard to technical questions and tools. He provides expertise and advice to the customer on technical questions and problems. Writes technical project documentation, makes configurations and performs functional tests. He puts Secheron Hasler products into operation on the train and trains the customer and internal technical staff.
Your main responsibilities and tasks:
- Requirements management for creating the System Specification
- Generates and manages the technical project documentation and deliverables.
- Creating configurations for onboard electronic product like e.g. Event recorders, Speedometer, Gateways.
- Specifies and executes system tests according to the project requirements
- Is responsible for the correct configuration control of the project, for both Hardware and Software.
- Technical interface with the customer and internal employees
- Supports the technical work of the other engineers in the project team
- Supports the customer in case of technical questions and problems during the customer project
- Performs the commissioning and training of the customer, mainly in Europe
- Define test equipment and tooling requirements and ensure their timely availability.
Requirements
You ideally bring the following:
- High school or University education in electrical engineering
- Professional experience of at least 3 years - Railway / Automotive industry is welcome
- Basic programming knowledge
- Ideally, experience in creating and performing tests of various systems and their evaluation
- Basic knowledge of electronics
- Small team management experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Italian language is a must
- Communicative knowledge of English
