SALARY: $125,600 - $141,300, bonus and long-term incentive eligible
LOCATION: St. Louis, Missouri
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO)
- Track, analyze, and report DIO performance at zone, business unit, country, and category levels.
- Lead monthly reviews with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on DIO performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Identify root causes of high DIO and propose corrective actions.
- Work closely with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Finance, Procurement, and Commercial teams to drive inventory reduction and cash flow optimization without compromising service levels.
- Align DIO targets with business planning cycles and S&OP/IBP processes.
- Support demand-supply balancing and capacity planning through inventory scenario modeling.
- Use forecasting tools and systems to simulate impacts of production, promotions, or demand shifts on DIO.
- Leverage advanced analytics tools (ERP, Power BI, Anaplan, etc.) for inventory visibility and actionable insights.
- Maintain a clean and accurate inventory master data environment.
- Lead continuous improvement projects (e.g., inventory segmentation, safety stock rationalization, MOQ optimization).
- Establish governance frameworks and standard operating procedures for inventory management.
Leases
- Lead the budgeting and tracking and monitoring (T&M) process for supply chain leases across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with the broader financial planning cycles and priorities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for lease-related budget submissions, coordinating the process across zones and functions.
- Own the business case review process for lease investments, and work closely with operational, technical, and financial teams to ensure proposals are robust, strategically aligned, and financially sound.
- Ensure accurate linkage of business plans into financials, making sure business case benefits are accurately reflected in budgets and P&Ls.
- Provide strategic input for Buy vs. Lease decisions, helping the business assess trade-offs beyond costs – including flexibility, risk exposure, and operational efficiency.
- Review and challenge total cost of ownership (TCO) models to ensure all direct and indirect are properly reflected; use TCO analysis to evaluate full lifecycle costs and support decision-making between leasing, buying, or alternative sourcing models.
- Maintain an accurate and complete database of the main lease agreements, including key terms, financial obligations, renewal options, and critical dates (expiring contracts, etc.).
- Identify opportunities to optimize lease terms and reduce cost and implement controls to mitigate financial and operational risks related to leases.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields (Engineering degree strongly preferred)
- 4+ years of similar role
- Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- SharePoint administration knowledge
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work autonomously
