Venture Forthe is offering a $5,000 sign on bonus for our part-time RN's that will be joining our great team. We are currently hiring for a Field RN in our Buffalo/Cheektowaga Area! As a RN at Venture Forthe, you will be responsible for providing job training to home health aides, personal care aides. Assists in the agency’s continuing education/ in-service program and field competency testing of all clinical staff.

Nursing Recruitment Bonus Program

Eligible RN Hires and Payment Structure:

Part-time hires will receive up to $5,000 sign on bonus based on number of hours worked weekly. This bonus will be evenly divided over the course of one year and paid on a quarterly basis.  The payment structure will be as follows:

• 1st bonus payment: 3 months of continuously working
• 2nd bonus payment:  6 months of continuously working
• 3rd bonus payment:  9 months of continuously working
• 4th bonus payment (final): one (1) year of continuously working 

Hours: TBD, 16-20 hours/weekly

On Call Rotation: Approximately three (3) times annually (+$7/hour)

Job Qualifications:

• NYS licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Thorough knowledge of the scope of practice of professional and paraprofessional healthcare.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before customers/patients or employees of the agency.
• Excellent organizational writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.
• Required to participate in on-call rotation.
• 1 year Home Healthcare experience

Requirements

 REGISTERED NURSE (RN) DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the coordination, development and direct supervision of the agency’s paraprofessional staff
• Provides in-field professional supervision and on-the-job training to personal care aides
• Assists with teaching Personal Care Aide training classes
• Provides medical oversight for clients in their homes- including but not limited to assessments, obtaining MD orders, monthly contacts and maintaining an appropriate Plan of Care
