OUR VISION

In the new and exciting world of the decentralized internet, otherwise known as Web3, it is an individual’s fundamental right to own and control their digital identity. To ensure that the individual is paramount in Web3, we are developing a suite of applications to enable everyone to safely engage, take part, and transact in the emerging, decentralized world of the internet. Our platform centers on Web3 Identity and leverages that identity to provide individuals with secure digital asset storage and recovery, access to decentralized finance, the ability to prove ownership of their creations, and gateways to digital interactions and experiences – all to empower and benefit every Web3 user.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Director, Financial Products & Custody, you will be charged with leading Blockchains’ Web3 custody product from its current state of design through launch. You will work with engineering, product managers, GRC and other key stakeholders of program to drive success and build innovative solutions. You will manage ideation, development, and delivery for this product and grow the Financial Products & Custody department.  

Your primary focus will be to ensure the delivery of our custodian solution for internal customers and grow it to serve retail as well as enterprise customers. We are looking for someone who can solve ambiguous problems, is able to switch gears quickly, and keep driving forward. Other responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with wallet, and banking partners, customers, and other stakeholders to understand and prioritize customer needs.  
• Developing business requirements documents and conducting business analysis.
• Conducting and engaging in user research to develop first of its kind DApp (decentralized app) functionalities that serves the needs of retail as well as enterprise customers.
• Working closely with Engineering and PMO teams to groom backlogs and prioritize development work on an ongoing basis.
• Participating in daily and weekly scrum ceremonies.
• Identifying key deliverables, milestones and KPIs to measure success and report on progress every release cycle.
• Incorporating qualitative feedback from user research and support tickets and other data.
• Serving as a product evangelist with customers, press and analysts, and other channels at the direction of the Brand team.
• Partnering with non-technical stakeholders to assist in understanding current blockchain ecosystem trends and advocating for the Web3 custody solution.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

To ensure success, you must tie what we are doing directly to why it matters. You possess strong initiative, communication, and leadership skills while having in-depth knowledge and understanding of the business and product development of software solutions. You have a proven ability to drive large-scale products with multitude of stakeholder with a deep understanding of the agile methodology. Experience working in regulated industries is highly desirable, and especially a proven ability to collaborate closely with legal, GRC, UI/UX, and customer support teams. Passionate about learning new technology and always interested in solving problems with innovative approach.

YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

This position requires a BS/BA in business, computer science, engineering, or a related major; a graduate degree in one of these fields is a plus. A minimum of 4 years of experience in managing software products in financial technology and SaaS domains. The ideal candidate has 3+ experience of building blockchain and Web3 products. You will be successful if you have proven experience of taking product idea to a scalable solution.
