The Harness Software Delivery Platform includes Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Efficiency, Continuous Verification, and Continuous Features. The platform is designed to help companies accelerate their cloud initiatives as well as their adoption of containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Amazon ECS.

Position Summary
We are looking for a Technical Writer who can create and manage high quality content targeted to developers, DevOps, and management. Content topics range from quick start guides, how-tos, technical reference (API), concepts, release notes, and videos.

Responsibilities

Create, edit, and manage content for Harness continuous delivery, continuous integration, cost optimization, and monitoring products. This includes customer-facing developer and DevOps documentation.
Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Sales Engineers, and Customer Success to document new features, improve existing content, and provide UI text and tooltips.
Plan docs for new product releases with Product Managers and Product Marketing.
Contribute to self-service new user onboarding: wizards, in-app content, videos, etc.
CI experience is a must: GitLab, CircleCI, Google Cloud Build, BuildKite, Travis, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc.

About You

7+ years as a technical writer for a technical software solution.
Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment based on the needs of internal teams and customers.
Track record of building and maintaining strong working relationships with Product Managers, R&D, and customer facing teams.
Even better if you have experience with CI/CD technologies and tools: Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Helm, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
