About the role

Join us at Reckitt as a Maintenance Tech and be part of a team dedicated to creating world-changing products. This role will provide multi-craft (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) support to assigned packaging line team including operating, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs needed to deliver world class results in the key areas of Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Cost and Teamwork.
Your responsibilities
- Participate in developing and communicate short/medium-range maintenance plans for packaging lines.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Team Resource Manager to lead the maintenance repair on assigned lines.
- Monitor equipment uptime and maintenance response time and initiate improvement plans when necessary.
- Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing activities and ensure compliance with established standards (e.g., safety, quality, sanitation, GMP, Lean).
- Determine root cause of equipment failure and implement improvement plans.
- Operate / changeover packaging line equipment as needed; provide solutions to reduce changeover time.
- Standardizing/Center lining for packaging line equipment.
The experience we're looking for
- Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience in a team-based manufacturing environment; on high-speed packaging equipment preferred.
- Associates and/or bachelor’s degree in the mechanical and/or electrical disciplines preferred.
- Knowledgeable of preventative maintenance (PM) techniques and can implement improvements from vendor manuals.
- Consistently meets and occasionally exceeds production goals in a safe manner that emphasizes quality to our customers.
