Our department is responsible for the mechanical validation and release of Medium & Heavy Duty Engines.

Our team “oil management, crankcase ventilation, valve & gear trains” works on testing/methodology on component & system levels for conventional power-trains. We strive for the highest robustness of our Engine design by understanding the failure modes and by addressing the weak points of our components.

Our component engineers mainly investigate on fixture & test bench, as well as in vehicle.

• Planning of test campaigns
• Conducting of investigations on test benches (fixture and engine)
• Acquisition and analyse of measuring data
• Interpretation of results and decision on next steps
• Assessment on the criticality of component/system and required improvements
