As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol Specialist in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail or mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This is a driving post, so responsibilities will include patrolling the premises by vehicle as needed. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and daily activities as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Assist with access control and/or crowd management during busy periods or special events at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Driving posts are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
