We are looking for a VP of Finance responsible for running a highly structured and scalable global finance operations function. This includes ownership of financial compliance, tax, treasury, audit, legal entity governance, and external reporting across multiple jurisdictions.As a private equity–owned company, Trackunit places high priority on being exit-ready at all times. This means the finance function must operate with a dual mandate:
- Deliver efficient, compliant, day-to-day financial operations.
- Be continuously prepared for transactions – including financial due diligence, data room setup, and audit-level reporting.
This role is central to delivering both.
With locations in the hearts of Copenhagen, Kolding, Aarhus and Aalborg, we offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from one of our locations or remotely from anywhere in Denmark. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Who are you ideally?
- 8+ years in finance operations, controllership, or audit roles in a global, multi-entity setup.
- Experience in a private equity–backed environment, with a clear understanding of exit processes and due diligence expectations.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS, tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and audit standards.
- Proven ability to lead distributed finance teams and manage complexity at scale.
- Structured, analytical, and hands-on with strong attention to detail.
- ERP system expertise (e.g. NetSuite), and experience with process automation tools.
- Fluent in English; international experience is a plus.

Primary responsibilities:
1. Operate an Exit-Ready Finance Function
- Maintain a clean, auditable financial structure capable of supporting due diligence at short notice.
- Coordinate financial workstreams during M&A or exit processes, including data room readiness and Q&A support.
- Ensure robust documentation, governance, and visibility across financial controls and intercompany flows.
- Lead global finance operations across AP, AR, GL, banking, and period-end closing.
- Ensure accuracy, speed, and scalability of core finance processes and systems.
- Drive standardization and automation in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
- Ensure compliance with global VAT, indirect tax, and corporate tax requirements.
