Description

*1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Pay Range: $20-$23 per hour

1st Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Every other weekend, 3 holidays per year required.

Qualifications

 

What you'll do as a Lead Floor Technician

  • Supervise floor staff, helping technicians perform their work accurately, efficiently, and consistently throughout the shift.
  • Support all pharmacy departments to ensure medications are prepared accurately and timely.
  • Schedule floor technicians to ensure staffing requirements of the shift are met; assist in training new staff and coordinating ongoing programs.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary process improvement, development, and implementation.
  • Interface with management and vendors to resolve issues, maintain supply items, and ensure uninterrupted workflow.

 

What we need

  • Current unencumbered license in the state of practice: Certified Pharmacy Technician (certification not required for Illinois Pharmacy Technicians licensed before 2008).
  • Experience in long-term care or hospital pharmacy and competency in aseptic IV preparation required.
  • Supervisory experience a plus.
  • Excellent math, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Every other weekend and 3 holidays per year required.
