Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Clean Energy Project Scheduler. This position is fully remote.

This position will support the Department of Energy Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED). OCED was established in December 2021 to help scale the emerging technologies needed to tackle our most pressing climate challenges and achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
OCED is managing more than $25 billion in funding to deliver clean energy demonstration projects at scale in partnership with the private sector to accelerate deployment, market adoption, and the equitable transition to a decarbonized energy system.
The Scheduler will be part of a team tasked to develop, plan, track, and improve projects for specific scopes of work for cutting edge clean energy projects in support of the Department of Energy OCED. The scheduler will incorporate schedule and document changes, generate reporting metrics and progress reports, deconflict schedules and inputs from multiple organizations, maintain timelines, communicate directly with stakeholders and line management, and enhance the effectiveness of the team.
This person will be a Smartsheet integrated project Schedule expert who has patience to teach everyone in the Division Smart sheets 1 on 1. Must be able to get Smartsheet schedules working together across the division.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
- Must have experience with Smartsheet integrated project management product.
- Strong people skills and the ability to communicate across multiple levels of an organization.
- Previous experience with scheduling, team integration, and coordinating stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of project management methods and principles.
- Experience with Primavera software.
- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
