The role:
The Sr. Sales Forecasting and Operations Analyst is a critical component of the US Sales team. The role will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales related data in an ongoing effort to increase overall sales productivity and provide support to the production planning, marketing, and sales team.
This individual will also be responsible for the management of monthly volume projections, budgets, and demand planning forecasts. This role has critical interdependencies and accountabilities with all levels of the Kao US Sales Organization (including VP, Sales team, and Trade Marketing), Product Supply, Finance, and Marketing.

What you will do:
- Lead cross functional team comprised of Trade Marketing, Marketing, and Finance to develop annual shipment budgets, monthly shipment projections including key drivers, and revised annual estimates.
- Identify and sharing shipment trends with the team, provide perspective on key promotional and distribution impacts.
- Serve as the Sales rep on several consensus/production forecast teams, bringing Sales point of view based on the information the Field has provided, entire brand owner.
- Review shipment and consumption to identify trends, distribution, and promotional calendars, and bring recommendations to the team.
- Develop tools for the field to assist with sales forecasting, including the forecast form and sales reporting.
- Monitor forecast compliance, in terms of all data being completed - work with Field Sales and Directors when needed.
- Perform various analyses on sales effectiveness/efficiency, such as Segmentation, incremental program analysis and account level P&L analysis.
- Assist with markdown estimates, both with individual customers and corporate deletes, and manage annual return accrual tracking.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3-5 years of experience with an emphasis on data analysis, preferably in a CPG company
- Knowledge of forecasting methodology and process, strong analytical skills, ability to take data from multiple sources and convert to actionable information
- Strong Excel skills
- Self starter, ability to set priorities
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
