Medtronic has declared a bold ambition: to become the global leader in healthcare technology. You will shape how integrated planning drives the health and performance of our Operating Units and regions, bringing clarity, alignment, and disciplined execution to a complex, global organization.

In this role, you will provide an integrated, enterprise-wide view across OUs, regions, and functions—aligning growth, innovation, cost, service level commitments, financial goals, and operating mechanisms. You will lead the implementation of best-in-class Integrated Business Planning practices, with a particular focus on Financial Project Review and Management Business Review processes. You will also connect the dots between IBP and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), enabling smarter decisions, faster responses, and stronger performance in support of Medtronic’s mission to improve lives.

At Medtronic, we bring bold ideas forward with speed and decisiveness to put patients first in everything we do. This position is remote to enhance our competitive edge and expand our cross-functional collaboration efforts. • Develop metrics to measure processes, identify indicators to drive planning for future improvement opportunities, and conduct cost-benefit analyses.

  • Coach, develop, and train IBP team members — including step owners and facilitators and influence behaviors across all users of the process

  • Facilitating decision making; ensure the process is generating clearly framed decisions, with options and scenarios

  • Assess and balance tradeoffs and strategies to meet goals

  • Drive the S&OE framework and improvements in ensuring escalations are fed back into the overall IBP process

  • Proactively and concisely communicate and collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Operating units, and Regions, and the IBP team to integrate perspectives into strategic analysis and synthesize into a single plan

  • Actively contribute to and foster a community of IBP Leaders.

  • Act as an escalation point for data quality issues and hold input owners and data stewards accountable

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant financial or supply chain planning and process improvement experience with 7+ years of managerial experience or an advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant financial or supply chain planning experience with 7+ years of managerial experience

  • Deep experience supporting improvements in IBP, SIOP, S&OP, and S&OE

Nice to Have:

  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, change management, stakeholder engagement, and influence experience.

  • Strong business acumen – understanding different commercial operating models.

  • Experience in strategizing and implementing process improvement across a matrixed organization.

  • Proven ability to interact and effectively communicate with Executive management and all levels of the organization.
