Job DetailsJob Location: Murfreesboro Division - Murfreesboro, TN 37129Job Shift: 1st ShiftAs a Maintenance Lead Man, you will assist the Maintenance Manager in supporting maintenance activities to maintain and repair furnaces, equipment, and facilities to ensure continuity of efficient production. This role may also include installation and modification of equipment and facility systems. In addition, this position assists with calibration and compliance-related activities to support IATF requirements under the direction of maintenance and quality leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Assist the Maintenance Manager with maintenance department work assignments to help minimize equipment breakdowns and support timely         repairs.
Follow all safety protocols and support safe work practices within the maintenance team.
Follow all 5S and housekeeping standards and support these practices with the team.
Perform maintenance tasks to support efficient production of parts.
 Assist maintenance personnel with equipment maintenance and repairs as directed.
Assist in identifying maintenance materials and supplies for purchasing needs.
Support completion of assigned maintenance projects under supervision.
Assist with coordination of outside contractors as directed by Maintenance Manager.
Assist with maintenance and updating of maintenance files and records.
Support Maintenance Manager in maintaining quality and production goals.
Assist with eMaint system updates, PM completion, and work order documentation.
Work closely with Corporate Engineering to support troubleshooting and equipment improvements.
Support continuous improvement activities related to equipment and maintenance practices.
Ensure testing and maintenance tools remain in good working conditions.
Support Maintenance Manager duties when assigned.
Assist in training new maintenance personnel.
Assist in completing purchase orders for maintenance supplies and equipment.
Assist with calibration and maintenance activities supporting IATF requirements under supervision.
Support scheduling of preventive calibration activities as directed by maintenance

QualificationsQualifications


High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma Required
3+ years of maintenance leadership experience
Strong electrical background and strong mechanical aptitude
2 year technical degree strongly preferred
Thorough knowledge of electrical and electronics, pipefitting, instrumentation, temperature control devices, and welding.
Knowledge of industrial furnaces and material handling equipment preferred
Must be able to respond quickly to emergencies at the plant during off hours


License/Certification required:


Must be able to obtain forklift certification
