About the role:
The Global VESL (Veralto Enterprise System Leader), Growth reports to the Vice President of Product Management/Strategy. The Global VESL, Growth will be a senior level position responsible for owning the global VES growth processes (including commercial and innovation) to support the growth and development of the VES culture across Hach to achieve Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. This position will be the instrumental coach and trainer of leaders and associates to enable process improvements and sustainment of stronger results using VES tools. This position will leverage VES commercial standard work and will be responsible for deployment and sustainment of best practices. This role will partner directly with the Hach Global Strategy team – specifically, the Sales Excellence and Product Management organizations to drive growth.
In this role, you will:
- Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in commercial growth key performance indications (KPIs) in the product management and strategy organization, including impacted global commercial/innovation teams.
- Establish and sustain global standard work in partnership with functional leaders, regional VPGMs, and region based VESLs.
- Lead and execute the daily implementation of VES processes in the Product Management and Strategy teams:
- Champion the use of the problem solving and partner to identify which VES tool must be applied and when.
- Provide coaching and guidance for daily management, visual project management, and Growth Rooms.
- Audit existing processes and systems to determine actions required for improvements at Gemba.
- Regularly review performance and partner with senior leaders to define short-term and long-term VES strategies.
- Support inorganic growth / M&A activities based on product roadmap.
- Support in the planning, facilitation, implementation, and sustainment of kaizen activities:
- Guide pre-work and sustainment of the Kaizen process and provide training on key VES Tools (Kaizen, PSP, Daily Management, etc.)
- Ensure and conduct regular reviews of kaizen charter creation, review, approval, and pre-work that drive successful kaizen preparation, and kaizen sustainment.
- Develop talent capability and culture development in the commercial functions:
- Own VES immersion for L1, L2, and L3 leaders.
- Mentor future VES talent in application of commercial tools (through direct and indirect leadership).
- Required business travel 50% of the time.
Are you qualified?
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience deploying continuous improvement and/or VES processes
- Exceptional communicator with strong presentation and facilitation skills - both written and verbally.
- Prior experience in Project Management Organizations (PMO), Product Management or Commercial roles preferred.
- Process-oriented individual with passion for detail and experience with organizational change management.
