Sr. Engineer ADAS Test and Analysis Coordinator

Role Summary

• Coordination of effective testing, reporting, repairing and updating of all test vehicles in regards to Electric/Electronic incl. Driver Assist Systems in a timely manner to ensure no delays for SOP as well as no tow-ins and no unknown field complaints
• Perform on-site technical analysis on reported VW, Audi and other VW Group test vehicles, parts and components and determine the root cause of quality and design issues, validate driver complains and provide a full technical understanding regarding costumer/driver complaints to support the development countermeasures
• Develop and maintain fast and efficient communication flow with Audi AG
• Define and coordinate all electric/electronic incl. Driver Assist Systems related testing with I/EG-Qx, Audi AG development departments, data logger support team and Test Fleet Stations

Role Responsibilities

• Coordinates all Electric/Electronic incl. Driver Assist Systems related testing between all NAR test fleet locations and among all test cycles and intensive tests
• Conducts and coordinates thorough analysis of quality/design issues, reproduces issues, identifies root cause and conditions causing or contributing to quality issues based on various Vehicle Monitoring data such as CAN traces, Classifications, vehicle fault memory as well as Market studies/criteria (JDP, Consumer report, etc.)
• Coordinate all Electric/Electronic incl. Driver Assist Systems related measurements (e.g. data logger configurations) with development departments, data logger support team and test locations
• Acquires necessary information related to specific test issues through analysis of development IT systems, existing network with development departments of all Group-Brands and Field support and quality departments; Takes responsibility to develop and extend information channels
• Develops/validates countermeasures together with involved areas (R&D)
• Deep knowledge of connected services within backend structures EU & NAR (Pre-Prod & Prod)
• Documents all findings in ALPOS/ATP/KPM reports, performs lessons learned analysis leading to a continuous Improvement process of the development/testing process
• Presents findings to requesters (i.e. EG’s of Brands) in a clear, structured way
• Based on necessity, involves and coordinates activities with other area/suppliers in order to perform further/deeper analysis
• Based on requests, supports development department's activities regarding US market (Info-Requests, Benchmarks, Investigations, etc.)
• Supports Management Ride and Drives by participating in release activities
• Design Electric/Electronic incl. Driver Assist Systems test programs, monitor release cycles and recommend releases based on status of development level
