Your Teams impact:
Become a key member of our dynamic Support Analyst team dedicated to Portfolio Management Systems. In this role, you'll be instrumental in efficiently handling onboarding projects for hedge funds and asset managers. You'll actively engage with external brokers to support seamless trade execution. What You'll Do:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of the Analytics suite.
Effectively communicate with our most sophisticated analytics users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their current applications in the industry.
Act as a bullpen resource for Generalist Sales, Specialty Sales, and Client Consulting to address time-sensitive and/or complex Analytics needs. This includes web and on-site visits for demos or projects that need Analytics Product Specialist involvement
Implement new and enhance existing deployments to create a better user experience and/or enable sales opportunities
Provide resolutions to questions that come from clients through the Quant and Fixed Income Support mailbox
Organize and relay client feedback for enhancements and bugs to Product Development
What We're Looking For:
Required Skills
At least 2 years of experience working with FactSet’s Analytics tools
Bachelor's degree
Sound understanding of FactSet’s Analytics clients and user workflows
Proven technical proficiency particularly with writing complex screening codes
Preferred Certifications: Portfolio Management, Idea Generation, Fixed Income, and Essentials of Finance (or progress towards CFA / FRM designations)
Desired Skills
Proficiency with R, Python, Matlab, SQL, or desire to learn these tools
Excellent track record of leadership, collaboration, and innovation in past and current roles
Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
Enthusiasm, strong sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership
Willingness to travel
