Job Description Summary

The Digital Technology Configuration, Master Data, and Document Specialist is responsible for:
• The creation and maintenance of eDHR (electronic device history record) workflows and the associated master data for products and manufacturing processes of a plant (250 Schilling Circle).
• The facilitation and coordination activities around worldwide business (enterprise level/sales level/plant level) master data.
• The clerical duties related to the maintenance and updating of technical documentation.

This role configures the eDHR system. eDHR is used to digitalize paper batch records. It enables efficient and effective digital conversion by systematically simplifying manufacturing processes and improving batch record data / record management. They manage, organize, and control changes throughout software implementation and sustaining of normal operations.

They are a critical member of the site eDHR project team. They may lead configuration during initial eDHR system deployment, under the direction of the eDHR project manager, and will continue to drive completion of configuration activities in replication across additional manufacturing areas/lines of the plant.

All activities align with global strategies, guidance, and deployment roadmaps for eDHR initiatives, including site level project and replication plans.

This role configures Master Data in SAP. They identify and gather master data in SAP. They manage the use of the MDH (Master Data Hub) workflow tool or other internal methods for the collection of master data from appropriate knowledge sources (e.g. purchasing, quality, planning, other sites, etc) within the business/site.

This role updates documents and procedures based on redline changes. Changes are provided by team members and routed through the electronic document management system for approval. They complete tracking, logging, updating, and version control of technical documents according to business standards. They work under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional areas.

This role works closely with all areas of the plant, as well as other divisions within the company. This will include operations, quality, technology, engineering, IT (TGS, our Digital Technology Business Partner), and the central eDHR group (our Application Development Owner).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with implementation teams (e.g., quality and OT engineers, eDHR project leader, operations) to ensure digital conversion of paper batch records are accurate and complete.

• Support achievement of technical and business “launch” milestones on time and as planned.

• Create and maintain eDHR workflows and associated master data in the eDHR system. Align plant level configurations with global recommendations.

• Define and implement an optimized master data architecture (as it relates to number and content of forms, control plans, and master data sets).

• Test new configuration / master data setup in QA environment before moving to the production environment.

• Provide domain expertise and direct support to quality functions during digital transformation (eDHR). Guide and shape how eDHR technology can transform the quality & manufacturing processes.

• Partner with implementation teams to define and refine requests for digitalizing manufacturing processes. Provide guidance on eDHR capabilities.

• Monitor and evaluate eDHR system data to identify configuration / master data anomalies.

• Adapt, improve, and modify working methods to optimize day-to-day processes and system configurations.

• Achieve a basic knowledge of data fields and their relationships with a good understanding of the importance of ALL data elements.

• Facilitate and coordinate the identification and collection of enterprise/sales/plant level master data for the SAP environment.

• Receive all requests for new material and modified master da
