Purpose of Role

Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Stock House. Under department supervisor direction, responsible for assigning tasks, leading and keeping on track the daily operations of the work area. Performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, lift truck operation and/or manual tasks, QA and compliance tasks associated with the operation of the distribution house.

 

 

Your Impact

•    Print Reports and post reports for teammates to show them performance trends (EP%, OS%, etc). 
•    Create Teams for Team Event job functions for example, receiving a trailer, etc.
•    Re-train low performers to support skill gaps.
•    Support with conducting observations and partner with leadership to provide coaching.
•    Submit tickets for Teammates login access to WM.
•    Monitor clock in/out(s) within LM system to verify LM reporting and notify manager of any discrepancies. 

OTHER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
•    Ensures the maintenance of a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop.
•    Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
•    Assists the Department Manager/Supervisor in achieving goals of the departments.
•    Work with Distribution Center's leadership to implement corporate strategy(s) and initiative in a timely and efficient manner.
•    Retrieve and place merchandise in trailers, pallet locations, and pallet racks.
•    Ensures accurate, timely delivery, and quality of all orders.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
•    Continuously learn, coach and deploy policies and procedures for the assigned department(s)
•    Assists with the development of efficient space planning for storage areas. Utilizes hand-held computers to receive daily tasks.
•    Use powered equipment to retrieve and place merchandise in trailers, pallet locations, and pallet racks.
•    Train and coach Warehouse persons and Warehouse Administrators in team procedures in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
•    Responsibilities may include planning, assigning and directing work. Responsible for maintaining a fair and consistent set of standards as they apply to the team members.
•    To be consistently at work and on time.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High School diploma (or GED), or equivalent years of experience.
    • Forklift certification or the ability to pass forklift operator training and receive certification.
    • 1 or more years of warehouse experience.
