Assistant Professor of Spanish

The Department of Languages and Literatures at Oklahoma State University is searching for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish with a specialization in Colonial Latin American literature to begin in the Fall 2022. In addition to maintaining an active research agenda, this person will be expected to teach a wide range of undergraduate classes, including elementary and intermediate language, upper-division language, literature and culture classes, as well as classes in English translation. This search is part of an Inequality Cluster within the College of Arts and Sciences. A successful candidate should be willing to teach from a multicultural perspective and be willing to mentor ethnically and racially underrepresented students. Ph. D. in hand by the time of appointment.
