This role works primarily in a warehouse environment and supports the efficient flow of medical supplies throughout UCLA Health. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking/packing, and delivering supplies from the UCLA Health Distribution Center (UCDC) to our hospitals and ambulatory clinics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing receiving, stocking, and order‑picking functions
- Packing, staging, and delivering medical supplies
- Training staff and maintaining clean, organized inventory areas
- Managing inventory documentation and data entry
- Conducting physical inventory counts
- Supporting additional warehouse or logistics tasks as assigned
This position is essential to ensuring our clinical teams have the supplies they need to deliver exceptional patient care.
Salary Range: $32.97–$39.40 hourly
Job Qualifications

- Required to hold valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
- Ability to operate a university vehicle to deliver supplies to multiple off-site locations.
- Ability to understand and adhere to healthcare regulations for infection control.
- Demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or supply chain and warehouse management software.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to understand and adhere to Materials Management, Receiving, and UCLA policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships across departments, using English effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Demonstrated good telephone etiquette.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment with coworkers, patients, and family members in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lb
