Full Stack Tech Lead

The Role

We are searching for a Tech Lead with a passion for innovation and the ability to revolutionize healthcare for patients in need. As a Tech Lead, you will own initiatives from design to deployment, acting as both a hands-on contributor and mentor to the team. You have experience across multiple areas of development (frontend, backend, database, DevOps, etc) and are comfortable problem solving and solutioning within a multi-layer system. 

You will work closely with our Product and Clinical teams to develop solutions and timelines that balance business needs and technology capabilities. You excel at breaking down requirements and defining clear solutions and timelines, guiding the team through best practices in testing, security, architecture, documentation, and scalability. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences with varying degrees of technical expertise ensures alignment across stakeholders and engineers.

For the Tech Lead of the Patient Experience squad, we are looking for an engineer that would be on the forefront of Oshi’s connection to our patients via our app and website. This position would work with our mobile, front-end, and backend API developers to enhance the patient experience and scale to more people in more ways.

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute as a full stack engineer, developing and maintaining a suite of products that deliver Oshi’s patient experience, working with technologies such as AWS, ReactNative, ReactJS, Next.js and more
  • Work with other members of the engineering team to drive technical designs based on product requirements
  • Participate in an agile team delivering work in two-week sprints, with a well-structured process including planning, pointing, and retros 
  • Collaborate with Product to find the most effective possible solutions and estimate effort through various stages of product conception
  • Promote an environment where developers test their own code carefully and pair with QA engineers early in the process to ensure tight cycle times
  • Recurring on-call shifts supporting the operations of the care coordination and clinical teams to ensure the platform is running smoothly
