Join us and be part of something extraordinary.</p> <p>We’re seeking future team member/s for the role of <strong>Derivatives Fund/Client Accounting</strong> to join our<strong> Fund Accounting team</strong>. This role is located in Dublin – HYBRID.</p> <p>In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and moderately complex funds including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses and preparing reports.</li> <li>Drive Service Improvement plans, target efficiencies, enhance processes and perform specialist review functions within Fund/Client Accounting responsibilities.</li> <li>Check the work of more junior team members and provide guidance as needed.</li> <li>Perform cash and asset reconciliations related to more intricate accounts or transactions within assigned funds, including reconciliation of account expenses for complex transactions and appropriate allocation.</li> <li>Escalate atypical transactions to senior team members.</li> <li>Draft reports for clients regarding the performance of funds and may review first draft reports completed by more junior staff.</li> <li>Interact with clients to answer questions regarding fund reports and accounting processes.</li> <li>Ensure all OTC trades processed correctly to accounting platform.</li> <li>Asset creation of OTC security types.</li> <li>Coordination with Security Master for other OTC asset creations.</li> <li>Review asset static data and trade details to highlight anomalies or nonstandard terms.</li> <li>Term-sheet review for complex/nonstandard OTCs.</li> <li>Contribute to the achievement of team objectives.</li> </ul> <p>To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>3+ years of total work experience preferred.</li> <li>Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.</li> <li>Ability to provide guidance to less experienced team members.</li> <li>May have people management responsibilities in some geographies.</li> </ul> <p>At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at:</p> <p><a href="https://www.bny.com/corporate/global/en/about-us/newsroom.html" target="_blank">BNY Newsroom</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/bnyglobal/posts/?feedView=all" target="_blank">BNY LinkedIn </a></p> <p>Here’s a few of our recent awards:</p> <p>America’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2024<br/>World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune, 2024<br/>Human Rights Campaign Foundation, Corporate Equality Index, 100% score, 2023-2024<br/>Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion, Disability: IN – 100% score, 2023-2024<br/>“Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2024<br/>Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, Top performing company for Sustainability, 2024<br/>Bloomberg’s Gender Equality Index (GEI), 2023</p> <p>Our Benefits and Rewards:</p> <p>BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
