Pratt & Whitney is seeking a qualified candidate for the AME Technical Publications team. The AME Technical Publications team is responsible for developing maintenance manuals for advanced military applications. The team ensures contract support is in place and maintenance manuals are developed to program strategies and in accordance with contractual requirements.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform the Product Assurance (PA) process for delivered Data Modules (DMs), including DM reviews, nonconformance tracking, workflow management and metrics reporting, to ensure compliance with documented specification, style guides and engineering source data.
  • Collaborating with the tech data supply base to ensure adherence to overall DM quality, cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements.
  • Interface with Customer Support Engineering (CSE), Support Equipment (SE), and Support Integrated Product Team (SIPT) members to validate engineering source data requirements.
  • Identify and implement authoring and PA process improvements to mature maintenance procedures.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years prior relevant experience
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and 5+ years experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of project management, technical writing experience, process planner, logistics support, and a solid understanding of aircraft engine maintenance practices.
  • Certification FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic a plus.
  • Experience with S1000D, MIL-STD-38784, MIL-PRF-87268, and MIL-PRF-87269 specifications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, Team Center, DOC ACCESS, PW specifications, Arbortext, and Corena.
  • Process certification or other statistical backgrounds are desirable.
  • CAM/EV experience (RAM compliant).

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
