About this opportunity:

Cenovus Energy is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to drive safe and efficient work execution at our Lima Refinery. This role will be responsible for providing timely feedback to our planning organization to improve future job plans, coaching maintenance resources to improve efficiency, properly allocating resources to ensure completion of the weekly schedule, and working with Operations, Technical and Maintenance personnel to drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure the safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of all field maintenance activities within the assigned area, maintaining a strong field presence and championing a culture of safety. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory, environmental, and safety/quality standards

• Collaborate with Maintenance Planning, Operations, Scheduling, Technical, and Safety teams to ensure all pre-job requirements are met and planned work is executed effectively

• Drive completion of the weekly maintenance schedule, maintain visibility of future work up to four weeks out, and reallocate resources to optimize productivity and move work forward

• Conduct week-ahead walkdowns with craft teams to review upcoming jobs, identify potential delays, and ensure readiness

• Act quickly and effectively to address job delays, providing timely support to other area supervisors as a one team approach to help complete priority work

• Lead initiatives to improve maintenance efficiency, increase "time on tools," and control costs across the site

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, efficiency, and cost performance

• Assist cross-functional teams, including Turnaround operations, based on plant priorities. May require flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and overtime

Who you are:

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 8+ years of experience in maintenance work planning, scheduling, work supervision, or a related field

• Previous experience in a refinery/petrochemical plant environment or related environment

• Ability to learn and effectively use SAP or similar CMMS platforms to manage and track field progress
