Custom Protect Ear Sales Manager - US

Job Type Full-time Description

  The Custom Protect Ear (CPE) Sales Manager will oversee and lead the activities of the CPE Sales Department for the assigned territory. They are responsible for generating sales at or above the territory’s sales quota by recruiting, training, managing, and holding accountable their team of sales representatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provide leadership to the sales team and motivate sales reps to meet sales quotas
• Spend 75% of your time on sales management and 25% of your time actively selling
• Hire and train regional sales reps, manage performance, and handle disciplinary actions
• Provide coaching and performance evaluations with sales reps on an in person “ride along”
• Review sales data, analyze trends, project future sales, and identify growth opportunities
• Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) system information and forecasts
• Handle customer inquiries, discount requests, request for proposals (RFP), and complaints 
• Collaborates with senior leadership team to set annual sales goals and strategies based on customer and market insights
• Manages territory expense budget (tradeshows, travel, customer expenses)
• Supervises and      promotes a positive work environment following company policies,      procedures, and philosophy

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Sales, or related field OR
• Comparable record of sales leadership experience required
• At least five years of sales leadership experience
• Industrial safety or personal protective equipment experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office-based software, specifically Excel.

Salary Description $120,000 - $150,000 plus commission
