Sr. Director, GSC DT ERP Lead

Job Purpose
Serve as the GSC DT tech leader on the S/4HANA programme, accountable for ensuring GSC requirements, design inputs, integration development / testing, pilot, and site rollout are executed successfully end to end over the life of the project.
Closely collaborate with the GSC ERP leader, and overall ERP program leader throughout life of programme to ensure all targeted outcomes are secured.
Act as key facilitator to collect technical input from all necessary domain experts and product owners within GSC DT to ensure a deliverable that complies with the vision of both the GSC ERP and Smart Manufacturing programmes
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with GSC ERP Lead to develop a shared business process and tech vision for the S/4HANA program
Develop shared success criteria and expected outcomes for the program, supporting inputs for overall business case development
Identify main relationships / dependencies between ERP and Smart Manufacturing Programmes to be managed
Drive appropriate staffing from GSC and GSC D&T to secure success for life of program
Ensure efficient and content targeted communication on SAP4/H to GSCDT Community
Support End to End technical decisions on where a business capability will be housed between ERP / Smart Manufacturing programme architects on design decisions and technical governance boards
Promote One ERP Single Instance, paying special attention to the documentation and approval of tradeoffs (business/technical impact) of template vs. Custom, ERP vs. GSCDT platforms landscape
Support early proof of concept projects execution for key functionality (SAP or BoB) in coordination with ERP or GSCDT programme team to gain early confidence in main architecture decisions
Oversee and coordinate the definition of technical requirements and design of technical solutions throughout the ERP transformation including integration to Site based systems on OT network
Drive tech coordination across all RFPs for GSC and align with Tech lead for solutions and SI
Ensure quality of program technical deliverables by reinforcing quality standards and ways of working
Serve as SPOC addressing challenges in the Tech space in GSC for Tech lead
Knowledge/Education Required
Minimum Level of Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, other relevant discipline
GSC digital technologies, IT/OT technology architectures and trends
Crucial experience for nature of this role
Preferred Level of Education
Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
Previous SAP S/4HANA program and/or technical experience
Supporting experience for nature of this role
Previous Experience Required
Inspiring technical manager with deep understanding of current IT & OT and the latest technology trends, especially with SAP S/4HANA
Organised and structured thinker with attention to detail
Strong problem-solving, analytical ,and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both business and technical contexts
Strong stakeholder management, and ability to drive alignment across functions/domains that already are in progress in GSC
Deep understanding of the GSC digital technology space – with the ability to stay current and up-to-date on trends and technologies
5+ years experience in managing large complex IT transformation projects
Proven management ability, including the skill to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong examples of coaching, facilitating and guiding others – directing, leading and mentoring others
