We are currently looking for a Commercial Business Controller for the Commercial function in Europe APMEA.
About The Role:
In a dynamic and fast-moving environment, you will act as a financial advisor by providing decision making support and business intelligence for the Commercial function in Europe APMEA.
You will be part of the BA EA Finance Leadership Team and the European Commercial Leadership Team and report operationally to CFO BA EA and functionally to SVP Commercial EU.
Key responsibilities:
Finance Business Partnership:
- Provide financial leadership to the Commercial Areas by adding value in taking strategic and operational business decisions
- Ensure understanding, communication and implementation of the financial and business strategy in the Extended Commercial EU Leadership Team and within the CA Controllers
- Ensure high quality, transparency and integrity of the financial information and management report
Business Planning & Performance Management:
- Contribute to build, deploy and monitor budget process in the overall Commercial organization
- Ensure business visibility on Weekly, Monthly basis through solid governance model
- Responsible for the price strategy, definitions and governance.
- Responsible for Price & Revenue Management including Volume, Price and Mix calculation/management.
- Provide financial inputs and analysis of different scenarios, new initiatives, etc., in order to support the sales decision process.
- Build, track and report financial KPIs in Commercial organization
- Collaboration with Financial Controlling to secure proper procedures are in place and followed-up
Finance Leadership to Commercial Area Controlling:
- Ensure functional skills development for direct and functional reports across the Commercial Finance organization
- Ensure effective governance forums within the controlling teams to enable smooth collaboration and efficient ways of working
- Work closely with Commercial EU Leadership Team, BA EA Finance Leadership Team and BA/Group Finance to ensure strong collaboration and support for the Commercial finance function, talent management and capability building
You will additionally be responsible for different expertise areas that contribute to the Commercial P&L, such as Credit Management, Pricing Office, Marketing Controlling and Business Market Intelligence.
