Digital Transformation PMO/Project Manager

Summary of the role

As the Digital Transformation PMO/Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the execution of critical initiatives, ensuring the deployment of effective working methods across teams.

You’ll be supporting the design and implementation of the Digital & Transformation Services (DTS) operating model, acting as a change agent for agile transformation, and overseeing cross-value stream coordination.

In this role, you’ll

1. Contribute to designing and deploying DTS operating model

• Collaborate with DTS governance teams to implement the agile transformation

• Define consistent roles, responsibilities, and governance mechanisms

• Work closely with other DTS project managers to enhance processes and assets

2. Enable cross-value stream coordination and reporting

•  Chair Portfolio Sync meetings, driving cross-dependencies and risks

•  Monitor projects roadmap and facilitate discussions on transversal initiatives

3. Prepare new initiatives/projects (pre-project plan)

• Develop project charters, prioritizing, assessing value, and defining scope

• Align project goals with strategic objectives and track business performance metrics

• Manage risk, contingency plans, and change management needs

4. Drive project execution and lead associated transformations

• Ensure digitalization projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget

• Act as a conductor for stakeholders, aligning communication and execution

• Manage vendors, ensuring quality delivery and a smooth transition into Amadeus teams

About the ideal candidate

• University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or similar

• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in transformation management, delivering and executing IT projects in complex organizations

• Proficient at both transversal/governance and project levels

• Knowledge of agile methodologies framework (SAFE, Scrum) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

• Proficient in English (both verbal and written); another language is a plus

• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

• Strategic thinker translating intents into actionable digitalization roadmaps

• Ability to clearly articulate complex information to a wide range of audiences

• Collaborative mindset, driving results in alignment with expected value
