Our team supports some of Akamai's most dynamic customers in streaming media, gaming, and SaaS. We collaborate with our clients to architect, integrate, and evolve cutting-edge solutions that power and protect digital experiences. We work across media delivery, compute, and security products, enabling scale and performance through end-to-end program ownership.

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you'll lead engagements that drive customer success from kickoff through delivery and post-launch support. You'll be the connective tissue across internal teams and client stakeholders, ensuring timely execution, clear communication, and continuous improvement.

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading customer-facing engagements across implementation and managed services
• Evaluating customers' technical requirements while aligning with Akamai solutions, focusing on media delivery and edge services
• Owning project lifecycle planning, execution, and delivery across multiple workstreams
• Facilitating collaboration among internal stakeholders, including Solutions Architects, Support Delivery Managers, Engagement Managers, and Sales partners
• Running effective internal and external meetings, manage risks and escalations, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
• Tracking and document progress, communicate updates, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Upholding operational excellence through timely compliance with time tracking, documentation, and project governance
• Contributing to continuous improvement efforts across process, tooling, and methodology

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 or more years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Demonstrate experience managing complex technical customer projects in the media, gaming, or SaaS space
• Be fluent in web architecture, internet protocols (such as HTTP and DNS), and ideally media streaming workflows
• Show excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Be able to lead meetings, driving accountability, and navigating ambiguity
• Have a PMP or be familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
