Purpose
The Lead Analyst will play a pivotal role in translating insights into growth strategies for our US Surgical Vision team. This role will be the primary analytics partner for our marketing and consignment teams and will ensure data-based decisions in these areas. Furthermore, this role will play an overall leadership role in ensuring a robust data catalogue and overall forecasting. This position will report to the Director, Commercial Analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing & Consignment Analytics: Partner with cross-functional team members to develop analytics to enable key business decisions and enable tracking of key performance indicators to measure performance and adjust as needed.
- Data Visualization: Design, maintain and enhance dashboards to enable self-service analytics across stakeholders, including but not limited to Marketing and Consignment teams.
- Data Catalogue: Maintain overall data catalog including developing governance procedures and ensuring adherence to them.
- Overall Forecasting: Partner with Marketing & Finance partners on Annual Business Plan Annual Operating Plan, new product launches, and other ad hoc reporting/insights needs.
- Other Commercial Analysis: Prepare regular and ad hoc integrated analyses for management focused on leading indicators and drivers of results.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related analytical or science field is required. MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years business experience with 2+ years in analytical experience is required. Medical Device and/or healthcare sector experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to synthesize and interpret data into meaningful recommendations is required.
- Deep expertise with data transformation, analytics and visualization software (Sales Force, Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, SAP, Dataiku, Alteryx, SQL, Python, etc.) is required.
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills are required.
- Strong business acumen and ability to model impacts of commercial activities are required.
- Strong communication skills, including presentation skills, are required.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and delivery on tight deadlines/timelines.
- May require up to 10% business travel.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $91,000 to $147,200.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide
