Northrop Grumman is seeking an Air‑Defense Systems Integrator for a position based in Kuwait. The successful candidate will integrate new C-UAS defeating capabilities into the FAAD C2I (Forward Area Air Defense Command, Control, and Intelligence) and the Base Operations Network (B-NET) in Kuwait and throughout the Middle East. Working at both operational and tactical levels, the integrator will handle hardware, software, and commercial‑off‑the‑shelf (COTS) solutions that deliver Situational Awareness (SA), early warning, and air‑space management. Responsibilities include managing data links for C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence) systems, coordinating integration with the Joint Multi‑Tactical Data Link (TDL) Network (MTN) to ensure interoperability and real‑time data flow for theater and missile‑defense missions, and initializing and integrating the Air and Missile Defense Planning Control System (AMDPCS).

This assignment position is in Kuwait and is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.

  

Internation compensation package available for long-term OCONUS Deployments.

Duties include: 

  • Integration, implementations, modifications, and enhancements in accordance with customer specifications and requirements
  • Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determine technical solution in accordance with product customer specifications, and recommend actions to customer representatives
  • Conduct technical training as needed
  • Perform as the field liaison with customer as needed
  • Perform start-up testing
  • Provide the technical interface with product level integrated product teams
  • Enable direct liaison among government representatives, vendors, NG PMO leadership, and engineering teams via coordinated briefings

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years’ experience or a Master's degree with 8 years' experience. A High School diploma / Equivalent with 14 years' experience may be accepted in Lieu of degree
  • Experience in Software, Hardware, IT, Networking
  • Current and active Secret Security Clearance
  • Operational and Technical integration of Air Defense System
  • Must have experience with FAAD and AMDWS
  • Must have familiar with C-UAS, SHORAD, C-RAM, IBCS or similar system
  • Integrated data communication networks for the Air Defense Airspace Management (ADAM) or other similar experience
  • Assist with Network/Air Operations Center security protocols
  • Experience supporting defense systems field testing (First Article, Design Variation, or Environmental)
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Army 140A MOS or other similar experience
  • Current and active Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience Systems integration and modernization on the Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD) Command and Control (C2)
  • ADAM Cell, AMDPCS FAAD Shelter and/or Battery Command Post experience
  • Multi-TDL Advance Joint Interoperability Course (MAJIC), Multi TDL Planners Course, Link Unit Manager Course
  • Experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and an understanding of the OSI model and network architectures
  • Experience supporting defense systems
  • Experience in reviewing and conducting data analysis on deployed/fielded Major End Items (MEI) and developing solutions for field implementation
  • Experience in reviewing/redlining Network Data Packages (NDP)
  • OCONUS Deployment experience
  • Must be able to pass Medical and Pre-deployment requirements per the CONUS Replacement Center (CRC)standards in support of OCONUS Deployment to ARCENT, AFRICOM, CENTCOM, or EUCOM regions.
