Job Description
The Credit Settlement Risk (CSR) team is responsible for protecting Visa from financial losses relating to the Visa Indemnity arising from the failure of Visa clients, while enabling and supporting innovation and responsible business growth. CSR maintains credit settlement risk policies and procedures and regularly review clients to manage settlement exposure.
This role will support the long-term strategy for the Global CSR Operations group, responsible for delivering on commitments for CSR, with responsibilities for organizational strategy, process optimization, communications & change management, training & development, organizational tools and information integrity. The CSR Operations group is responsible for ensuring CSR operates in alignment with its business objectives, policies, and procedures across all regions (AP, CEMEA, Europe, LAC, and NA).
This role will require a strong blend of technical, business, and communication skills to take a leading role in several key areas of CSR’s Global Operations, including reporting, process improvement & automation, and control monitoring.
Essential Functions
This role will:
- Take full ownership and manage end to end CSR’s Global reporting process, including:
- Periodic reporting to Global and Regional CSR teams, Global Risk Management, and key CSR stakeholders.
- Projects to create or improve fully automated and interactive dashboards using SQL-based tools, Tableau, and PowerBI. A strong SQL experience is a must, and a strong expertise in at least Tableau or PowerBI is required. The individual is expected to train less experienced team members so they can increase their level of proficiency with these tools.
- Periodic reviews of the completeness and accuracy of CSR’s reporting, which entails the planning, the execution, and the documentation of these reviews. This requires managing large data sets and reperform complex calculations. In addition to a strong expertise in SQL, Tableau / PowerBI, this also requires an advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Training of the CSR Operations team and the broader CSR Global and Regional teams on data analysis techniques and tools.
- Manage process improvement and automation efforts leveraging SharePoint, PowerApps (e.g., PowerAutomate) and other tools available, including Artificial Intelligence resources (e.g., Copilot). This includes providing training to less experienced team members.
- Lead key CSR control monitoring activities end-to-end, including their planning, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement (e.g., periodic validation of the compliance with CSR’s annual credit review requirements).
- Lead change management activities for CSR systems and ensure an effective collaboration with the Technology group and the different CSR teams. This includes leading the prioritization of system changes, the definition of business requirements, and the execution of user acceptance testing.
- Help drive CSR’s strategy, goals, and budget.
- Drive internal compliance and audit activities (e.g., audits, risks, and controls self-assessments).

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
