Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

Two Six Technologies is looking for a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. If you have a desire to join a team of cutting-edge researchers and developers on embedded devices for security applications, let’s talk!

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, test, and debug embedded software, particularly for embedded Linux and bare metal MCUs
• Evaluate and select peripherals like Wi-Fi NICs and CAN interfaces based on software compatibility with existing applications and driver support
• Review designs and source code from other individual contributors

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience developing, testing, and debugging embedded software for Linux and bare metal MCU’s
• Expert level understanding of C/C++ programming
• Prior experience with embedded Linux
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical field
• Hands-on experience with electronics and electronic test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer)
• Must be able to receive a security clearance

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience shipping an embedded Linux device
• Strong understanding of Linux Wi-Fi drivers
• Strong experience of Wi-Fi NICs and CAN interfaces
• Strong understanding of 802.11 protocols
• Experience or interest in reverse engineering and cybersecurity. 
• Currently holds an active security clearance (TS/SCI is preferred)
