About the IVF Nurse Role and REI/IVF
• The clinic offers a full range of assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including IVF, egg retrieval, and embryo transfers, along with fertility preservation and genetic testing options.
• The RN works with a multidisciplinary team to ensure successful IVF outcomes. Manage IVF treatment plans, medication administration, and coordinate procedures like egg retrieval and embryo transfer.
• Provide patients with IVF protocol education, emotional support, and guidance throughout their fertility journey.

Skills and Experience for an IVF RN:
• Must hold a valid RN license, with experience in women’s health, reproductive endocrinology, or OB/GYN nursing preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to explain treatments clearly, manage patient expectations, and collaborate with the fertility team.
• Ability to manage multiple patients and handle time-sensitive IVF procedures and medications efficiently.
• Experience working with physicians, embryologists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Precision in managing complex treatment schedules, lab results, and patient records to ensure successful IVF outcomes.
• Ability to educate patients, medication schedules, and treatment plans while offering emotional support throughout the fertility process.
• Strong understanding of fertility treatments, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and medication protocols (preferred)

Job Summary

Summary
Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.

-Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
-Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
-Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
-Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
-Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
-Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
