• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience & skills needed:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database administration and development.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL internals, including storage engines, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL, and other relevant scripting languages.
- Experience with AWS services (RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3, etc.) and cloud-based database management.
- Solid understanding of database security best practices and threat modeling.
- Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with PostgreSQL extensions and advanced features.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.
- Experience with data replication and high availability solutions.
- Certifications in PostgreSQL or AWS.
