As an Intern, you will have hands-on experience working in a role related to your field of study. This paid position offers a flexible schedule if you continue to take classes in the summer or you wish to pursue other opportunities simultaneously. It will include hands-on experience working alongside the existing members of the department. You will be provided extensive training, guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience.
The successful candidate should be enrolled full-time in a major university or college and studying a field related to the department in which they are assigned.
Reports To
Department Manager (ie Accounting Manager, HRBP, Customer Experience Manager etc.)
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent and seamless project completion while also exercising time management and task prioritization
- Work with team leaders to identify opportunities to improve company processes, products, services and/or technology systems and suggest improvements
- Participate in learning opportunities for process improvements, time management, and technology skills
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Special projects and other duties as needed
- Enrolled in a college or university program
- Available 40 hours for non-school periods and flexible scheduling while school is in session
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Strong and confident communicator
- Naturally positive, helpful, and courteous attitude
- Willingness to assist with internal customer needs, multi-task and use time effectively
- Demonstrate patience and attentiveness in all communication and interactions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and very active group environment

- Experience with MS Office and/or Google platforms; may require other software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) if needed in a specific department

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
- Occasionally required to stand and walk
- May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds (such as office boxes, files)
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Some regional travel may be required, pending specific job duties; that said, must have a vehicle to travel to events and/or run errands (supplies) per department needs
