We're excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we are looking for a Premium Payable Associate to join our growing team in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The Premium Payable Associate will mainly be responsible for monitoring and recording invoicing activity for those profit centers working with the Premium Payable Team within Retail-SCALE in accordance with established company practices and timelines.

General Responsibilities:

• Working the Service Now tickets to assist the Premium Payable Accountants

• Assign Service Now tickets to ICP Teammates when needed

• Assist B&B teammates working with ICP Team on our procedures ex. When & how to submit Service Now tickets

• Issue and process payments to companies, client, finance, etc. through AMS360

• Run reports within AMS360 to review when companies should be paid on Agency Bill Invoicing

• Track down statements & invoices from Companies regarding Agency Bill invoices that we pay

• Shadow and work closely with Premium Payable Accountants to gain a better understanding of their responsibilities

• Understand and follow Brown & Brown Accounting Guidelines. 

• Collaborate with appropriate teams to resolve transaction inquiries

• Enforce and uphold established controls surrounding all payment processes

• Build courteous and successful relationships with various office staff to maintain efficient practices.

• Promote teamwork, support, knowledge sharing and a positive attitude in the department and office.

• Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information, new product development, legislation, coverages, and technology including professional development and continuing education.

Required Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of financial accounting

• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office environment, including but not limited to Teams, Word, and Excel

• 1+ year office experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Insurance industry experience

• 1-3 years’ payable experience
