In this senior position reporting directly to the Technology Team Manager, you will spearhead the implementation and support of strategic initiatives aimed at driving significant process improvements for the White Stone, SC site. This role presents a unique opportunity for you to leverage your advanced communication and problem-solving skills, as it requires you to influence and engage with a diverse array of stakeholders, including operators, global technology teams, regional project organizations, and senior business leadership. Your expertise will be pivotal in fostering collaboration and ensuring that strategic objectives are met effectively.

- Leading the drive for technical expertise in yourself and others and pursuing sustainable solutions by supporting a safe and efficient operation.
- Driving innovation by developing creative solutions and serving as a Manufacturing Representative to plan, scope, and implement small to mid-scale capital projects within the constraints of an operating plant.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting skills to the Operations team and monitoring long-term KPIs and analyzing trends to optimize production.
- Developing and implementing process improvement plans that will enhance safety, quality, plant reliability, cost, and efficiency.
- Managing and supporting Process Hazards Analysis (PHAs) for all areas of the plant.
- Providing technical solutions and closure to any gaps remaining from PHAs, GPSCs, and/or RCMS Audits.
If you...
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or related discipline
- Hold preferably 5 years of Operations Engineering experience.
- Possess strong technical skills, and familiarity with chemical processing equipment
- Have experience in process hazard analysis, management of change, root cause analysis, and incident investigations is required.
- Hold experience formulating capital projects.
