Aircraft Mechanic III - Fleet Operations Division

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is excited to announce an opening for an Aircraft Mechanic III position supporting a newly-established satellite maintenance location. This role will be responsible for performing advanced aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure the safe and reliable operation of agency aircraft and will serve as a key technical resource in a remote setting. Preferred experience includes hands-on maintenance with AS350B3 and/or Cessna Caravan 208B aircraft, along with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. The selected candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently without supervision, maintain accurate maintenance records, and ensure all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and TxDOT standards while supporting the overall readiness and mission success of the aviation program.
