As a Senior Practice Informatics Specialist, you will serve as primary contact for assigned practices & support Altais IT with the successful implementation, adoption, & long-term use of Altais’ suite of business/clinical tools in collaboration with other members of the Altais IT Team. Lead Informatics/optimization/proficiency efforts in collaboration with Epic SMEs.
Independently identify opportunities & lead Altais internal projects.
This is a Casual opportunity for up to 6 months.
You will focus on:
Principal contact to practices live with Epic including system training and support.
Support practice/technology implementations to conclusion.
Lead efforts to collect and analyze data on operational needs analyze current business/ clinical workflows.
Maintain thorough knowledge of Altais’ suite of electronic tools.
Work independently & as part of the Informatics team with support of Clinical Informatics Advisor IIIs & team leaders.
Work collaboratively across teams to generate unique and innovative solutions to address user issues.
Independently resolve provider and practice escalations in an expedited manner.
Assist with practice engagement, discovery in consideration of Epic implementation.
Uses skills and experience to support the Epic Implementation, Epic Support, and Epic Optimization Program models.
Support onboarding, cross-training, and development of internal CAC team members and processes
The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
5+ years’ experience supporting user adoption of Health Information Technology
5+ years’ experience supporting practice clinical or business operations Epic adoption and proficiency
Proficiency or Certification in PTK Applications
The Base Salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000/year
