Our Operations function supports the overall execution of manufacturing operations. Our teams develop and implement processes for productivity across plant operations, drive improved security within our plants and across our products, drive global standardization of our operations and its commercialization while working toward improvements for our customers.  

What You Will Do: 

  • Continuous improvement on multiple product lines including: Lighting (Interior & Exterior), Oxygen, Refrigeration/Chillers Ovens, Beverage Making Products 
  • Helping to create visual management across all lines. 
  • 5’S (lean 6 sigma) 
  • Floor stock/kan-ban ordering process.

  • How to develop, implement, and execute ideas that reduce waste in our processes
  • Basic skills of time management, accountability, organization, and teamwork
  • Opportunity to absorb knowledge from different departments like mechanical repair, quality, and materials

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale 
  • Pursuing a degree in Operations Management, Operations Research, Logistics, General Management, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Distribution. 
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment experience in lean manufacturing / six sigma concepts (5S)
