Business Analyst

Omnicell’s 340B is looking for a Business Analyst who will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong business analytics and communication skills with an eye for detail. The Business Analyst will support Omnicell business functions, processes, and activities to identify business needs and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and validate the business needs of stakeholders
• Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope
• Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics
• Create, define, and validate user acceptance test cases 
• Create and track project metrics and baselines 
• Assist in conducting research on products to meet agreed upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts
• Utilize standard templates to write requirements specifications and user acceptance test cases, accurately and concisely
• Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to the project team
• Assist with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options and communicate these back to the business stakeholders
• Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation 
• Support project management tasks, as needed

• Detail and process-oriented with strong organization, multi-tasking and tracking skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including an awareness of change management principles
• Intermediate skill set in Microsoft Office including high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio
• Intermediate skill set in project management tools (i.e.: Smartsheet, Microsoft Project)
• Positive and team-oriented attitude 
• Ability to develop strong relationships with team members
• Solid, independent worker 
• Ability to manage several similar projects tasks simultaneously

 

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree 
• 3 years experience in business analysis

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the healthcare or pharmacy operations 
• +5 years of experience as a business analyst in the healthcare industry 
• Certifications (any of the following, or similar): CBAP, Six Sigma, Lean
