Role overview

The Nursa Product and Engineering team is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to build and scale existing and novel features/functionality for our growing marketplace app. You’ll build features and products that customers love to use in a highly mission-driven environment.

You’ll join the Shift Management team, which is responsible for the core functionality of the Nursa application. The team is providing new functionalities in shift scheduling, creating shifts, and requesting areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive projects that span our front-end hybrid application. You’ll be responsible for implementing new solutions using Angular, Ionic Framework, and Capacitor

• Promote strong collaboration within a cross functional team, including design, product management

• Apply and evangelize modern best practices in your software designs and implementations.

• Deliver features requiring close coordination with adjacent teams

• Be a strong contributor to the product vision and drive team planning

• Mentor and coach junior team members

• Build for scale and high performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience building and scaling consumer facing applications

• Experience with Angular framework and Typescript is preferred

• Experience with Ionic Framework and Capacitor is a plus

• Strong experience working with modern web application development

• Experience in Healthcare or a two sided marketplace is a plus

• Experience with Git source control and ideally cloud based Git providers such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket

• Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms

• Experience with working within a compliance framework and ensuring compliance requirements are met

• Self-starter that identifies problems, brings solutions, and is not afraid to step in and start working

• Demonstrate use of out-of-box thinking for creative solutions to complex problems
